"Oh what a lovely view" is the first thing you'll say when you arrive at this property which is on the Domaine des Albères, a rather nice part of Laroque which was built in the 1960's high above the village on the lower flanks of the Albères hills - Laroque is a lively village with excellent restaurants, bars and shops yet it's kept its rural Roussillon charm firmly intact.
If you can drag yourself away from the view (first photo below, bring binoculars for hours of fun, every evening you are offered, completely free, an unique, and often very colourful, theatre of sunset, but I digress) or the Domaine's very own Swimming pool and Tennis court you can walk up to the top and over into Spain from here.. or it's only 15km from the Mediterranean seaside or how about a trip up to Perpignan or Carcassonne or down to Girona or Barcelona. What a fabulous holiday you can have here!
The pool is only 150m from the property and is large enough to really get in some serious exercise, or you can just enjoy the sun from the newly re-laid terraces and gardens which surround the pool and remember, there's a tennis court you can use next to the pool too!
