This pleasant property is in a quiet cul-de-sac on the Domaine des Albères, a suburb of Laroque which was built in the 1960's above the village on the lower flanks of the Albères hills - you can walk up to the top and over into Spain from here. The gardens are all mature and are a sight to see due to the warm microclimate in this part of Roussillon, just 9 km from the sea. The garden of this villa is no exception and many pleasant hours can be spent sitting on the terrace at this property (I've tested it personally for a whole afternoon recently, in mid January!)
The Domaine's swimming pool is only 375m from the property and is large enough to really get in some serious exercise, or you can just enjoy the sun from the newly re-laid terraces and gardens which surround the pool.
There's a tennis court next to the pool too!
The breathtaking panoramic view from the balcony of this property extends to over 50 kilometres across the Plain of Roussillon - from Mount Canigou (2784 m) in the West, past the ancient Cathar Castle of Quéribus in the Corbières, to the Mediterranean sea in the East. Every evening you are offered, completely free, an unique, and often very colourful, theatre of sunset. Bring binoculars for hours of fun!

A balcony runs along the whole front of the house where you can sit and admire the view and watch the fascinating changes of colour that occur minute by minute in this corner of the world
